Schools in the winter areas of Kashmir Valley and Jammu today opened up after 15-day heatwave breaks; Amended time and school online classes.

Jammu and Kashmir schools open again: Schools in the winter areas of Kashmir Valley and Jammu Division were reopened today (Tuesday) on today (Tuesday). Education Minister Sakina Masood Itotu announced that the institutes would operate from 7:30 am to 11:30 am within the municipal border, while in other areas they will work from 8 am to 12 noon.
Students will also participate in two online classes from home after one hour break.
“We are reopening schools in the winter areas of Kashmir Division and Jammu Division from tomorrow (July 9). Srinagar and other municipal boundaries: 7:30 pm -11 pm. Outside the municipality border (rural) from 8 am to 12 noon, after 2 online classes, teachers will have to remain online.
The summer holiday, which lasted from 23 June to 7 July, was first declared in view of the serious heatwave. Even before the brake, school time was adjusted due to rising temperature. However, the weather is expected to improve in July 4 after July, the authorities confirmed that the holidays will not be extended.
Education authorities reiterated that the 15-day break was sufficient and underlined the importance of recurring educational work immediately to ensure the completion of the course and continuous learning progress.
