As half of the Earth will witness the rare event of a total solar eclipse tonight, ISRO’s Aditya L1 will simultaneously track the Sun’s behavior and rays during this rare astronomical event.
As millions of skywatchers anxiously await the rare event during which the Sun will be completely blocked by the Moon, causing complete darkness in many countries.
During a total solar eclipse on April 8, the Sun, Moon and Earth will line up in a straight line, causing darkness during the day.
