Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), a division of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), is conducting a recruitment drive for Apprentice Trainee posts. Interested candidates can apply through the NATS 2.0 portal of the Ministry of Education at nats.education.gov.in.
The recruitment drive is to fill 585 Apprentice Trainee posts in VSSC, which includes 273 Graduate Apprentice and 312 Technician Apprentice posts. Eligible applicants are invited to attend walk-in-interview at VSSC Guest House, ATF area, near Veli Church, Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The organization has said that those who appeared for the August 31 interview are not required to participate.
Eligibility Criteria for ISRO VSSC Recruitment:
For Graduate Apprentice Posts: Candidates should have BE/B.Tech. With minimum 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA in the relevant field from a recognized University/Institute.
For Technician Apprentice Posts: Applicants must have a Diploma in relevant engineering field or Hotel Management/Catering Technology from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60 per cent marks or 6.32 CGPA.
Documents required for ISRO VSSC Walk-in-Interview:
Applicants must carry the following documents during the walk-in-interview round:
– graduation certificate
– Consolidated Marksheet
– Proof of date of birth
– Caste/Community Certificate
– Non-Creamy Layer Certificate
– Disability Certificate (if required)
– Experience Certificate (if any)
-Income and asset certificate issued by Tehsildar
– Passport size photo
– Registration Form (for candidates applying online)
Selection Process for ISRO VSSC Recruitment:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the relevant examinations, taking into account the reservation categories. Trainees will be recruited for the 2024-25 training posts only on the basis of their ranking in the selection panel, subject to availability of vacancy and validity of the panel.
Salary Details for ISRO VSSC Recruitment:
Candidates shortlisted for Graduate Apprentice posts will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9,000 per month, while candidates selected for Technician Apprentice posts will receive Rs 8,000 per month.
