After the United States (US) attacked three Iranian nuclear sites, President Donald Trump said late Saturday (local time), “Iran, the Middle East threat, should now create peace”. He warned, “If they don’t, the future attacks will be much more easy and very easy.”
But what did he really mean to “make peace” to Iran? The US President did not explain this or explained what Iran should do to achieve that peace. But this can mean three things:
1. ‘Unconditional surrender’ by Iran?
After leaving a G7 summit in Canada on Tuesday, Donald Trump said that he was not demanding a ceasefire in the Israeli war on Iran, but wants a “real end” for the struggle. “… or giving it completely right,” he said.
Later in the day, Trump took an even more strong stance, posting two words on the truth social in all caps: “unconditional surrender.”
2. A nuclear deal
Trump wants a deal on Iran’s nuclear program. He does not want Iran to make nuclear weapons. “Just said, Iran may not have a nuclear weapon,” Trump has said many times.
Prior to Israeli attack (June 13), Trump’s conversation status was that Iran should completely stop uranium enrichment. He convicted Tehran for not accepting that proposal.
According to The Guardian, on Tuesday, he said that the struggle was ended with Iran, “completely defeat” on uranium enrichment.
“In April, Trump said that he could” voluntarily “enter a war between Israel and Iran if there is no deal on Tehran’s nuclear program.
Four days ago, Trump refused to reach Iran for “peace talks”. He said that if Iran wants to hold peace talks, “They know how to reach me. They should have taken the deal that was on the table – a lot of life would have been saved !!!”
However, Iran has said that if Israel continues to strike on Iran, no interaction with the US is possible. The Islamic Republic has also accused the US of supporting Israeli attacks.
3. Diplomacy
Trump on Thursday announced a two -week time limit to decide or decide to attack Iran on Thursday as he believed that there was a “sufficient chance of interaction with Iran”.
Trump said, “Based on the fact that there is enough opportunity to interact with Iran in the near future, I will decide my decision whether to go within the next two weeks,” Trump said.
