What does BIS CARE app do?
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has created this app so that people can check the real standard of their electronic products like charger, power bank, LED, home appliances etc. By entering the IS mark on the charger and the R-number in the app, you can find out whether the product meets the safety standards of the government or not.

- Download BIS CARE app from Google Play Store or App Store.
- Find the ISI mark or R-number given on the charger.
- Enter the number in the app and tap on Verify.
- The app will tell whether your charger is registered or fake.
What to do if the charger turns out to be fake?
Register a complaint by choosing the Report option in the app and stop using that charger immediately. If necessary, complaint can also be made in the nearest consumer forum.
