The company is currently testing this new feature. In this new feature, users will be able to add music to their WhatsApp status updates.
Over the past year, the platform has introduced several updates, such as removing limits on online payment users and launching tools to detect fake photos. This new feature claims to bring even more excitement to the platform. Especially for those who frequently use the status section.

WhatsApp’s music status feature like Instagram
With this new status update, users will be able to share their favorite songs on their WhatsApp status. A new music button has been added to the drawing editor in the status section. Users can tap on this button, where users can easily choose the song of their choice, which they can share with their photo or video.

This feature is currently available for beta users and is still in the testing phase. However, it is expected to be rolled out for all users soon. Users can browse the library of songs and trending tracks. For photos, you can add a music clip of up to 15 seconds. Whereas if music has to be used for the video then it can be more than this. Songs can be synced with the content.
