Instagram down for many users across the country, unable to login

New Delhi. There are reports of outage once again in the social media platform Instagram. Many users across the country have complained that they are having trouble accessing Instagram. This has also been confirmed on social media platform X (earlier Twitter), where many users have given information about this.

Users are getting error messages like “Something went wrong” and “Unexpected error occurred” while opening the Instagram app. This problem has been seen on both Android and iOS versions. Even the web version of Instagram is facing the same problem.

What does the Downdetector report say?
Many reports have also come on outage tracking platform Downdetector. About 64% users have reported login related problems, 25% users are reporting server connection problems, and the rest are app related complaints.

Meta’s reaction
Till now Meta (parent company of Instagram) has not issued any official statement regarding this outage. Also, the reasons behind this problem have not been disclosed. Users are eagerly waiting for the solution to this problem, but currently there are problems related to login and access on Instagram.
