In a recent episode of HT Smartcast, titled “To empower women under leadership,” Alison Barrett MBE, Director of Country India But British councilShared their powerful journey, insight and strategies to elevate women in leadership roles.

While reflecting his 27-year career in 14 countries, Alison spoke about how various experiences have shaped their leadership style-a powerful combination of global awareness, acting in the field with beneficiaries and stakeholders, insight to play insight, optimization, sympathy and advice in the advice of the leaders. While the gender equity has been progressed, it has consistently accepted structural obstacles and lack of mentorship that hinders women’s advancement.
