North Western Railway of Indian Railways has invited applications for Apprentice posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of North Western Railway rrcjapur.in. This recruitment drive will fill 1646 posts in the organization. The registration process will start from January 10 and will end on February 10.
Mode of Selection:
The selection will be based on the merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who applied against the notification. For this purpose, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be based on simple average of marks in Matriculation and ITI.
For the purpose of calculating the percentage of matriculation, the marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be counted and not on the basis of marks in any subject or group of subjects.
For the purpose of calculating the percentage of ITI marks, the marks mentioned in the provisional/final certificate will be counted.
In case the marks of two candidates are equal, priority will be given to the candidates having older age. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who has passed the matriculation examination first will be considered first.
As mentioned above, a final merit list will be prepared division/unit wise, trade wise and community wise, equal to the number of slots in descending order of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate.
The finally shortlisted candidates will be subjected to verification of original testimonials and production of medical certificate.
A registration number will be issued to each applicant during online application submission. Candidates are advised to save/note their registration number for further stages of the recruitment process/correspondence with Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC).
Eligibility conditions :-
Candidates must have completed 15 years of age and must not have completed 24 years of age as on 10.02.2024.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates.
For persons with benchmark disability (PwBD), the upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.
The upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen is relaxed by additional 10 years to the extent of service rendered in the Defense Forces and by 03 years provided they have put in minimum 6 months of continuous service, except those Ex-Servicemen who have previously have joined the Government Civil Services after acquiring the status of Ex-Serviceman for the purpose of their appointment. However, regardless of the community, ex-servicemen will be considered under the ex-serviceman quota.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT). Should be. ) / State Council of Vocational Training (SCVT).
Application fee
The application fee is Rs.100/- for all candidates. SC/ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD), Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee. Fees should be paid through debit/credit card. For more related details candidates can check the official website of NWR.
