The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is implementing strict-ante-ford measures, including compulsory facial recognition and comprehensive use of mobile jammers at all its examination centers across India, Mint said. The move aims to maintain integrity and to ensure fairness by obtaining a “zero cheating cases” records for June 2025 RRB exams, according to an official statement.
An advanced base e-KCCCCCC will be introduced which will allow the matching of real-time face during the registration process on the day of examination. The report states that the photographs received directly from the general e-KUC of the candidate will be compared with images captured during the initial application and again in the examination center registration by the officials concerned.
The purpose of this multilevel verification process is to incorporate an additional “pre-examination check” layer, which is almost impossible to copy. With biometric security, RRB will deploy mobile jammers at all 7,000 examination centers across the country. The procedure aims to end any attempt to cheat through electronic devices such as mobile phones, which have faced significant challenges in conducting the examinations on a large scale.
These reforms were implemented four months after the Railway Ministry decided to hand over the responsibility of taking the exam to RRB. The decision came by the CBI after the CBI arrested 26 railway officials allegedly to leak the examination paper at Uttar Pradesh’s Mughal Sarai.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Railways has released the RRB exam calendar 2025. Some top recruitment exams in the conduct of RRB RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), RRB Junior Engineer (JE), RRB NTPC, RRB Technician, RRB Group D, Paramedical Staff and Minister and Minister and Minister. It determines the timeline to evaluate official calendar vacancies, upload them on OIRMS (online indent and recruitment management system) and release recruitment information (CEN).
According to the calendar, NTPC Graduate (Level 4,5,6), NTPC Undergraduate (Level 2,3), Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical and Metalgnical Assistant, Paramedical Category Vacancy Assessment Deadline 30 September is 30 September.
