India Post has activated the application status for the recruitment of Gramin Dack Servant (GDS) recruitment 2025. Candidates applying for the recruitment process can check the status of their application on the official website of India Post on indipostgdsonline.gov.in.
To check the status of the application, candidates have to enter their registration number in the place provided.
In particular, through this recruitment drive, the goal of India Post is to fill 21413 GDS vacancies.
The recruitment process does not require candidates for any examination. Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of system-related merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class 10 board examination.

The department will release a list of shortlisted applicants for engagement on GDS online portal. After the result announcement, shortlisted candidates will be informed about the results and dates of physical verification, etc.
Registration for India Post GDS Recruitment 2025 started from February 10, 2025 and ended on 3 March 2025. The reform window was opened on 6 March and closed on 8 March 2025.

To be eligible to apply, candidates need to pass the Secondary School Examination (Class 10) with passing marks in mathematics and English.
Other qualification requirements include computers’ knowledge, cycling and adequate means of livelihood.
Additionally, candidates between 18 and 40 years of age were eligible to apply.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check the status of their application:
- Go to the official website, indipostgdsonline.gov.in.
- On the home page, click on the ‘Apply online’ tab.
- Next, click on the ‘Application Status’ option.
- Enter your registration number in the place provided and submit.
- Check your application status.
- Download the page and keep a printout for future reference.
