The placement exercise for the 2025-26 academic session has begun at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. An official press release said IIT Roorkee has strategically partnered with leading organizations across multiple sectors to foster a comprehensive and all-round placement ecosystem.
The institute has given special emphasis on artificial intelligence, data analytics, semiconductor technology, sustainability and core engineering domains this year. As the first day of 1.1 slots ended at 1 pm on December 1, IIT Roorkee students had already secured 8 international offers and 428 domestic offers. On December 2, 116 companies presented 555 offers including PPO.
The institute said the number of proposals registered so far shows a significant increase compared to last year’s figures.
