IIT Madras is offering two online certificate courses at a cost of Rs 500. The duration of the course is 8 weeks and it teaches subjects of data science, artificial intelligence and electronic systems. To apply for the course, interested candidates can apply on the official website school-connect.study.iitm.ac.in. According to more reports, the application can be done through partner schools.
The registration began on September 16 and the last date to apply is October 4. The courses are expected to begin on October 21. The last date for registration for partner schools has been set as September 30, the report detailed.
What is the eligibility to apply for the course?
For the course of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, the student must have passed 12th from any stream. Whereas for the course of Electronic Systems, the candidate must have passed 12th from Science (Physics) as well as Maths stream.
The institute will upload recorded lectures on the website, each of which will be 30 minutes long. The videos will be shared every Monday, the report added. Once a month, a live interaction session will be held and assignments will be given every two weeks. Students will be given two weeks to complete the assignments.
