IIT-KGP students’ organization launches feedback campaign on academic, administrative steps

The students’ representative body of IIT-Kharagpur has launched a feedback campaign among students regarding the academic and administrative steps taken by the authorities, including attendance policies, an institute official said on Monday.

Students’ representative body ‘Technology Students Gymkhana’ has started emailing an online form among the campus community to seek their “constructive feedback” regarding the “attendance policies” adopted by the institute.

The objective of the feedback is to ask students to review the ongoing system and seek their views on improvements, the official said.

He said that the answers of the students will remain confidential.

IIT-Kharagpur Director Suman Chakraborty said that feedback from students is important to arrive at any new initiative, which will be helpful in the overall development of the students.

He said, “We are open to any constructive suggestion which will be discussed in the highest decision making body of IIT-Kharagpur. Any opinion of the students regarding their issues including attendance issues is welcome.”
