IIT Kanpur has developed ‘Manodayam’ app
IIT Kanpur’s incubator company ‘Manodayam Private Limited’ has developed the ‘Manodayam’ app. This app detects mental stress of people by listening to their voice using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. This app will be used to raise awareness about mental health and treat stress in the country and the world.
How does ‘Manodayam’ app work?
According to Sanjay Bhardwaj, Managing Director of Manodayam Private Limited, this app has been developed under the guidance of experts from IIT Kanpur. Artificial intelligence has been used in the app, which detects mental stress by analyzing your voice.
To use it, you need to download the app and fill in your details. Then you have to upload a voice record of 20 to 30 seconds. The app will analyze your voice and prepare a report of your mental condition. This app has 8000 voice samples, which have been collected by the Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Noida. These samples will help in assessing various mental conditions, such as stress or anxiety.
You can also consult a doctor
Not only can your mental condition be detected through this app, but there is also an option to consult a specialist doctor. You can connect with the doctor through the app and get their advice and prescription. Also, this app will suggest you meditation, yoga and other measures to deal with mental stress.
