IIT Kanpur Placements 2025: Students accepted 1,079 out of total offers including PPO. 15 students received international offers from companies in Europe, Japan, Korea and America.

The Students Placement Office (SPO) at IIT Kanpur has successfully completed the first phase of campus placements for the 2025-26 undergraduate batch. The IITs said the recruitment was conducted in on-campus, virtual and hybrid modes to maximize accessibility for recruiters and students.
More than 250 organizations from various sectors participated in the initial phase, with a total of 1,202 posts offered. Students accepted 1,079 of these offers, including pre-placement offers. One notable thing was that 15 students received international offers from companies in Europe, Japan, Korea and the United States.
The institute expects more global opportunities in the second phase of placements starting in mid-January 2026.
This round included leading domestic and international companies such as Accenture, Airbus, American Express, BlackRock, Boeing, Databricks, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, Mastercard, Meesho, Navi, PwC, Qualcomm, Samsung, InMobi and Square Point Capital. Many PSUs including BPCL, BEL, MIDHANI and EIL also actively participated.
Commenting on the completion of the first phase of campus placements, Professor Manindra Agarwal, Director, IIT Kanpur, said, “The successful completion of Phase-1 placements reflects the academic rigor, adaptability and industry-readiness of our students as well as the strong and enduring association of the Institute with leading organizations in India and abroad. I commend the Student Placement Office for efficiently managing the flexible and inclusive placement process. are capable of making meaningful contributions to global and national development, and we look forward to continued success in the upcoming phases.”
