Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has started the application process for IIT JAM 2025 on September 3, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Joint Admission through the official website of IIT JAM- jam2025.iitd.ac.in. The last date to apply for IIT JAM is October 11, 2024. Candidates can change the preferred exam city, test paper, category or gender till November 18, 2024.

Candidates applying for IIT JAM 2025 can choose from seven papers – Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics. A candidate can appear for one or two test papers. However, a candidate can appear for two test papers only if the exam for the two is not scheduled to be held in the same session.

IIT JAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for IIT JAM 2025 must have a bachelor’s degree in the required subject as well as the minimum duration course for their preferred test paper. Candidates studying in the final year of an undergraduate program are also eligible to apply for the IIT JAM exam 2025.

IIT JAM 2025 Application Fee

Candidates have to pay IIT JAM 2025 application fee of Rs 1800 for one paper and Rs 2500 for two papers. For SC, ST, Divyang and female candidates, the application fee is Rs 900 for one paper and Rs 1250 for two papers.

IIT JAM 2025: Steps to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM at jam2025.iitd.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the IIT JAM 2025 registration link

Step 3: Click on the “Register Here” tab and enter the required details to complete the IIT JAM 2025 registration process

Step 4: Now login with the enrollment ID and password

Step 5: Fill the application form and upload the required documents.

Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit the application form

Step 7: Download the IIT JAM 2025 application form and take a printout for future reference

IIT JAM 2025 exam will be held in two sessions on February 2, 2025. The exams for Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematics (MA) papers will be held in the first forenoon session, while Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH) papers will be held in the afternoon session. IIT JAM Admit Card 2025 will be available in January 2025.
