The Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Sambalpur has announced a strategic change in its admission process, deciding to independently conduct exercises for the MBA program in the 2025-2026 academic year, an official said.
He said that the same admission process will also be applicable for the newly launched course of MBA in Business Analytics.

“This new admission process by IIM-Sambalpur exemplifies the institute’s commitment to foster a more holistic admissions experience through direct interaction with candidates,” a release said.
“Through this process, candidates are provided flexible options to attend personal interviews in physical or virtual mode,” it said.

The release said IIM-Sambalpur ensures that admissions are merit-based using CAT 2024 scores, academic records, at-work experience and gender balance.
