Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has joined hands with the Academy of Digital Health Sciences to launch the second batch of the Executive Leadership Development Programme for aspiring founders, CEOs and senior management.
It is noteworthy that the registrations for the program have started from August 1, 2024.
Consisting of asynchronous lectures through pre-recorded sessions, this certificate course allows participants to learn at their own pace, the press release states.
In addition, the curriculum also includes case studies that provide real-world insights, as well as live interactions to foster engagement with faculty and industry experts.
The underlying premise of the course is to transform ‘small healthcare organisations’ into ‘smart healthcare organisations’. It will focus on practical aspects of driving growth and profitability in a hospital. It will also cover critical areas including hospital infrastructure, innovation, management strategies, digital health technologies, continuous quality improvement, emerging care models, disruptive innovations and exploring new revenue sources.

What is the total duration of the program?
The Executive Program is 6 months long, divided into 7 intensive modules covering a wide range of topics:
- Founders’ Module – Governance for Growth
- Finance – Development Management
- Economies of scale – reimagining hospital infrastructure
- Economies of Scope – Human Resources as a Competitive Advantage
- physician involvement
- Patient Centricity and Quality – Customers as Marketers
- Future-Ready Hospitals – Operating in the Digital Age with Technology as a Profit Center
- Operations & Marketing- Service Marketing in the Digital Age.
According to the release, IIM Raipur will provide practical training and hands-on experience to the students to prepare them to effectively implement their entrepreneurial ideas.

Participants will be evaluated on the basis of quiz and case studies.
Dr. Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur, acknowledged that both the institutions recognised the vital role of Micro, Small and Medium Hospitals (MSMHs) in ensuring equitable access to India’s healthcare system and making it sustainable for all citizens.
He said the executive programme aims to make senior management more efficient and open the door to large-scale change.
