IIM Calcutta has launched the A-LED Strategic Marketing Program with Emeritus to equip professionals with skills in generous AI, analytics and customer-focused development.

This program is particularly conforming for those who are in senior level roles during marketing, digital marketing, counseling and professional strategy.
Rapid changing marketing landscape with Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the increasing demand of professionals that can merge data, creativity and customer-focused thinking to run development. Responding to the shift of the industry, IIM Calcutta has been ranked 5th in the NIRF 2024 rankings-Errites, which has been titled “Strategic Marketing for Leaders: Leverage AI for Groth” to launch an 18-week executive education program.
According to PWC’s Global CEO Survey 2024, 70% of Indian CEOs believe that generative AI will significantly affect how businesses make and distribute price, especially in personal marketing and customer experience. Additionally, Ey’s Aidea of India: 2025 reports said that 71% of Indian retailers are planning to adopt generative AI in the coming year. These findings underline the immediate requirement of marketing professionals equipped with AI-operated capabilities.
Supported by IIM Calcutta’s triple crown recognition (Amba, Equis, AACSB), new program marketing, digital strategy, counseling and senior level professionals in related domains are designed to empower middle-level professionals. It focuses on practical, hand learning in areas such as future analytics, generative AI, Omni-channel marketing and customer travel mapping.
“This program empowers professionals to lead effective marketing campaigns, drive growth, and a rapid digital-first world to lead professionals with AI-powered devices and data-LED strategies,” Avnish Singhal, Executive Vice President and Principal, India and APAC, said.
Course IIM Calcutta Prof. Live under the leadership of Sarawana Jikumar combines asynchronous recorded sessions with live online classes. Participants will work on a real -world case study from global brands such as Nike, Apple and Southwest Airlines, and engage in hand simulation and a capstone project. The IIM provides an alternative one -day networking event in the Calcutta campus for learning and faculty interaction.
