IGI Airport News: Perhaps for the first time in the history of Indira Gandhi International Airport, such a big syndicate related to fake visas has been busted. This syndicate would first trap youngsters eager to go abroad, then fix the visa fee according to their status. After collecting lakhs of rupees from these youngsters, the agents of this syndicate would hand over fake visas and tickets to the youngsters. And when these youngsters reached the airport, instead of reaching their desired foreign destination, they would be sent behind bars.
ITI Airport Police has busted this syndicate and not only arrested seven agents but also exposed the factory that made fake visas. The seven people arrested in this case so far include Manoj Monga, Shiva Gautam, Naveen, Balveer Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Asif Ali and Sandeep Kumar. Of these, Manoj Monga is a resident of Tilak Nagar in Delhi. Shiva is of Nepal origin and all the other accused are residents of Jind and Karnal in Haryana.

According to IGI Airport DCP Usha Rangnani, among the arrested accused Naveen and Asif used to trap the youth of Haryana-Punjab by showing them the mirage of luxurious life abroad. Shiva used to trap Nepali citizens in his trap in the name of sending them abroad. Shiva himself is a citizen of Nepali origin. After completely trapping them in their trap, they used to decide the visa fee according to the status of the people. Both of them used to charge at least 7 lakh rupees from every passenger in the name of visa and ticket.
He told that after getting money from the passenger, Asif, Naveen and Shiva used to meet Balvinder for fake visas. Balvinder used to give the work of making fake visas to Manoj. Manoj is a graphic designer by profession. He used to prepare the exact replica of the visa of the desired country on the instructions of Balvinder. All the security features were also added to the visa so that the fake visa does not get caught during immigration check. After the visa was ready, Jasvinder’s work used to start. Jasvinder used to deliver these visas from Manoj to Balbir.

As soon as he got the visa, Balveer used to hand over the passports with fake visas to Asif, Shiva and Naveen. After taking the full payment from the passengers, these three agents used to hand over the passports with fake visas and air tickets to them. In this way, this syndicate has trapped hundreds of people in its net so far. During the arrest, the police recovered from their possession 30 fake sticker visas issued in the name of various persons, 23 rubber stamps, 3 fake permanent residency cards of Italy, immigration stamps of various countries, die embossing machine, ultra-violet (UV) feature embossing machine, 14 original Nepali passports, 2 original Indian passports.

According to DCP Usha Rangnani, a special team was formed to investigate the case under the leadership of Inspector Ajay Yadav, which also included Sub Inspector Madan Lal Meena, Head Constable Vinod Kumar, Head Constable Vinod Pandey and Constable Nitin.
