IGI Airport Police: A very serious case has come to light from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. In this case, the foreign national was first told a scary story. After scaring him badly, the foreign national was offered help. After completely trapping him in their net, the miscreants extorted a huge amount from him. After completely looting him, this foreign national was left to wander on the way. Somehow, after reaching the IGI Airport Police Station, this foreign national told his ordeal to the police, after which the police registered an FIR and started searching for the accused.

A senior officer associated with the airport security said that Shunsuke Liu, a Japanese native, arrived at IGI Airport on Viet Jet flight VJ-935 at around 11 pm on September 17. After coming out of the airport, he was looking for a taxi to go to his hotel, when a person arrived there in his car and started talking to Shunsuke Liu. During the conversation, this person told Shunsuke Liu that almost all the hotels are closed due to heavy protests in Delhi. Extending a helping hand, he told Shunsuke Liu that he can make alternate arrangements for him to stay in Delhi.

98,700 rupees charged for a three minute journey
Shunsuke Liu was so scared by the words of this person that he agreed to get help without delay. After this, this person made Shunsuke Liu sit in his car and took him to Central Delhi area. After roaming from one place to another late at night, he told Shunsuke Liu that all the hotels and trains in Delhi have been closed due to the riots. In such a situation, he can send him to Varanasi in his car. When Shunsuke Liu agreed, this person withdrew Rs 98,700 from his credit card and made him sit in another car. This car took Shunsuke Liu some distance and dropped him midway and left.

Airport police started searching for the accused
After all this, Shunsuke Liu realized that he had been duped. Shunsuke Liu somehow managed to reach the IGI Airport Police Station with help, where he narrated his ordeal to the police personnel present there. On Shunsuke Liu’s complaint, the IGI Airport Police have registered a case against unknown people under Section 318 (4) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 40 of the Touting Act and started investigation. The police claim that soon the criminals will be brought to their rightful place.
