IGI: 6 hours delay in takeoff, passengers sitting in non-AC plane, situation became bad

Air India flight delay. The passengers of Air India flight AI-433 from Delhi to Bhopal had to face a long ordeal. It is alleged that they were made to wait for hours in the terminal in the name of technical fault and then this waiting continued even after boarding the plane. Ultimately, this Air India plane left for Bhopal with a delay of about six and a quarter hours from its scheduled time.

According to airport sources, Air India flight AI-433 was scheduled to depart for Bhopal from Terminal 3 of IGI Airport at around 2:45 pm. It is alleged that after reaching the airport, the passengers came to know that their flight was delayed. On asking the ground staff deployed at the airport, the only answer they got was that sir, the flight was delayed due to operational reasons.

The passengers faced trouble when the air conditioning of this plane was not working properly. The passengers spent about two hours fanning themselves with newspapers and magazines. According to sources, finally this flight took off for Bhopal at around 8:29 pm, about 6:25 hours late from its scheduled time and landed at Bhopal airport at around 21:35 pm. Due to this delay of Air India’s flight, children, elderly and sick passengers had to face a lot of trouble.
