In fact, the Airport Athority of India (AAI) has launched the Fliberry from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. With the commencement of this scheme, Bhuvneshwar Airport has become the first such airport in the country from where such a unique initiative is being started. Under the scheme, the fluber area has been formed in the airport’s departure and erhell area. In this flyber area, Hindi, English and Oriya language have been made available to the best.

Here you have to make a promise in lieu of carrying books of your choice. According to this promise, whenever you come back from the journey or go on the next journey, then you will return the book taken from the flyburry.

AAI created a flyber in collaboration with Bakul Foundation
The Airport Authority of India is taking forward this unique initiative with the help of Bakul Foundation. In this library, a collection of more than 600 books has been provided for passengers. Which includes novels, magazines, self-help books and children’s literary works. All these books have been made available in English, Hindi and Oriya. The Bhuvaneshwar Airport Fliberi Library has two shelves – one in the departure (departure) area and the other in the Arivals (arrival) area.

Started on Pravasi Bharatiya Day
This initiative, called Fliberry, was started on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Day. According to the senior officer of BBI Airport, there was a lot of interest in passengers on this scheme on Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, after which it was decided to continue this scheme. He told that a large number of passengers are taking books from the flybrary daily. Volunteers of Bakul Foundation come to the airport for one hour every day and fill the vacant book selfie with books again.

According to Sujit Mahapatra, the founder of Bakul Foundation, the idea of ​​the library at the airport was in mind for years. Bhuvaneshwar is not only liking his initiative at the airport, but is also reading the books present in the flyber with interest. He told that filling the shelves of books is a challenging task. However, he hopes that this problem may end in the coming few months, because the passengers themselves will start donating these books at the airport. He has also appealed to the passengers to keep their books as contribution to the library, so that shelves can be re -filled naturally.
