State Bank of India has started the auto loan facility named ‘SBI Two Wheeler Loan Scheme’ for the purchase of scooter or motorcycle. In this scheme, the bank gives loan on the purchase of scooter, motorcycle, moped or battery operated two-wheeler.

State Bank of India provides loan up to 85 percent of the on-road price of the scooter or motorcycle. For two-wheeler loan, any person between the age of 18 years to 65 years can take a loan from SBI. Under SBI two-wheeler loan, a loan ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 3 lakh can be taken.

To avail SBI two-wheeler loan, your monthly income should be at least Rs 10,000. If you are not employed then your annual income should be at least Rs 1.5 lakh. Two-wheeler loan can be taken six times more than your income. You can repay this loan in a tenure of up to 5 years.

While applying for a two-wheeler loan, you need six months’ bank account details, 2 passport size photographs, proof of identity, address proof. If you are a businessman and not an employee, then you will have to submit a copy of one year’s income tax return.
