A few years ago, the road was closed due to falling stones from the hill. Due to this, traffic had to be stopped. Stopping on this road during rain is not free from danger.

Keep a safe distance from the Aravalli Hills
Waterfalls flow in the rain at some places including Chipaberi to Satghum, 20 number pillar, Rishikesh on Mount Abu road. Many tourists stop their vehicles near the waterfall and enjoy bathing. This is very risky. Because many times there is a sudden strong flow of water, many people have been swept away in it. Therefore it is important to maintain a safe distance from these waterfalls. Apart from this, people also take bath in the Banas river passing through Abu Road. Two children from Jaipur drowned while bathing here.

Kamal Kishore Purohit, leader trainer and committee member in disaster management, advised that tourists visiting Mount Abu need to be especially careful during rains on the Abu Road-Mount Abu road. One should avoid taking selfies at the points made here, because there is a danger of stones falling during rains. Many people go down to take bath in the waterfalls. This is also dangerous. There is a strong flow of water from the mountains, there is a danger of getting swept away in it. People should stay away from these waterfalls. One should not go to take bath in any river or drain including Banas river. The risk of drowning is highest due to the rise in water level during rains.
