Udaipur: In Udaipur, Rajasthan, the number of Gujarati tourists increases significantly from Dussehra to Diwali. With this the tourism season also begins. In the tourist city Udaipur, preparations are going on for this season till Diwali coming after 36 days. For this, up to 50 percent booking has already been done in the lake side resort-hotels here. Till August this year, an average of 1.25 lakh tourists have come every month. Seeing this the industry is excited. Businessmen believe that it will be difficult to get rooms in hotels during Diwali and then the season will be at peak in December.
Navratri will also start on the third day of October. According to the industry trend, Gujarati tourists will reduce during this period. The reason is that during Navratri, Garba Dandiya festivals are organized on a large scale in every city of Gujarat including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara. Meanwhile, the number of Bengali tourists increases in Udaipur.
Packages being offered for 6 nights and 7 days
Apart from Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Pushkar are the favorite destinations of the people. The footfall of Gujarati tourists will increase from Dussehra till Diwali. They visit Udaipur, Nathdwara and Kumbhalgarh for 5 days during Diwali. During this period, there will also be a rush of foreign tourists which will continue till March. Holi, Dhulandi and Gangaur festivals are very attractive for foreigners. Let us tell you, every year around 50 thousand tourists come during the 5 days of Diwali alone. At that time tourism is booming. Then in December the city remains buzzing.
