Kangana Ranaut receives legal notice
Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee has sent a legal notice to the producer of the film. SGPC has demanded the removal of the trailer of the film Emergency, which was released on 14 August. SGPC secretary Pratap Singh has also expressed doubts over the actress’ film. He has complained to the Information and Broadcasting Minister as well as the Censor Board to ban the film. Not only this, it has also been said that Kangana Ranaut has hurt the sentiments of Sikhs through this.

Last week too, CDPC and Akal Takht had appealed to ban the film Emergency. CDPC and Akal Takht said that showing Sikhs as murderers in the trailer is wrong, SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami had also raised the voice for filing an FIR against Kangana Ranaut. It is being said that the sentiments of the Sikh community are being hurt through her film.
