Hyderabad Engineering student Jadav Sai Teja died of suicide, when the seniors forced him to drink and pay Rs 10,000. He recorded a video for help before his death.

Hyderabad Engineering student Jadav Sai Teja died of suicide after alleged ragging by seniors.
A second year engineering student in Hyderabad died of suicide in his college hostel when he was allegedly ragging and harassed. In a final video, the student said that he was being beaten, was forced to pay and begged for help. Police is investigating both ragging and suicide.
The victim, 22 -year -old Jadav Sai Teja studied at Siddharth Engineering College in Hyderabad. He was found hanging inside his hostel room and it is reported that the ragging was reported by NDTV.
According to the family lawyer, advocate Kishore, Sai Teja was taken by seniors at a time and made to drink. He was also allegedly designed to pay around Rs 10,000. The lawyer said that unable to deal with pressure, Sai Teja died of suicide.
In the video recorded before his death, Sai Teja said: “I was going to college. Four or five people came and threatened me. They are coming and demanding money.” He said: “They are also killing me, and I am very afraid. They are coming to me and asking for money, and they are killing me. What should I do? I am going to die. Please save me.”
In the clip, Sai Teja appears visually disturbed and frightened.
His family and advocate Kishore traveled about 300 km overnight to reach the hostel. The police have initiated an investigation into alleged ragging and suicide conditions.

Earlier in July, a similar incident took place in Bengaluru. Arun, a 22 -year -old architecture student of a private engineering college, died of suicide, allegedly due to ragging.
Before taking extreme steps, Arun recorded a video blaming his comrades and expressed an emotional crisis when he spoke behind his back. The incident occurred on 11 July at Arun’s residence in Nandaramayana Palya under Madanyyayyyanhalli police station in Nelamangala on 11 July.
