Risina Dialogue 2025: India Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar has recited Western countries again. In Raisina Dialogue, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar was given the need to establish international system. Also, the dual policy of western countries again attacked. He said that just as governments work to maintain system in their country, similarly this should be done globally. Jaishankar, especially in matters related to Global South (developing countries), gave an example of the hypocritical policy of Western countries, how the invasion or infiltration made by Pakistan on India’s land was converted into a regional dispute.
Jaishankar objected to the attitude of Western countries on the Kashmir issue. He said that India’s Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been illegal for the longest foreign power. In 1947, two months after India’s independence, Pakistan invaded and captured parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. At the same time, China captured the region in the 1950s and 1960s.
Who is the culprit in Jaishankar’s eyes
He also talked about the changing attitude of Western countries in the turmoil scenario of Afghanistan. In the last few decades, the upliftment, collapse and regeneration of the Taliban is the result of this. Jaishankar emphasized the role of Western countries to convert Pakistan’s attack on Kashmir into a diplomatic dispute. He said, ‘We went to the United Nations for an attack. It was turned into a dispute… The attacker and the victim were made equal. Who were the guilty side? Australia, Canada, Belgium, Britain and America.
How to wash West on Kashmir issue
Pakistan washed everyone thoroughly on the Kashmir issue by taking the name of western countries. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar pointed to hypocrisy in international diplomacy and said that countries like Australia, Canada, Belgium, Britain and America were involved in this wrong boyan. He reminded how India’s appeal in the United Nations was also blamed equally. While the real attacker was Pakistan.
Taliban was also pinched on the issue
Commenting on Afghanistan, Jaishankar also criticized the inconsistent attitude of Western countries. He drew attention to the contradictory situation where the same Taliban leaders were welcomed in the Doha and Oslo processes, which are now being condemned for the deteriorating situation of Afghanistan. He took a pinch and said how the Taliban, who was once considered extremist, is now in suit. Nevertheless, he is seen as a serious international concern. Jaishankar’s remarks paid attention to the contradictions going on in global politics, where the nations often wear a diplomatic chola on unresolved issues.
