New Delhi. Honda is preparing to make a major change in its smallest sedan, Honda Amaze. The company will launch the new avatar of Amaze this year. This third generation Amaze, which will replace the current Amaze, will have many features. The new Amaze will compete with Maruti Dezire, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor. It is believed that the new Amaze will create a lot of tension for the existing compact sedan cars. The Amaze car that Honda is currently selling in India was launched in the market in the year 2018. The new Amaze is expected to be available for sale by Diwali.
Honda City and SUV cars have already been launched on the new platform on which Amaze will be launched. Due to the new platform, the overall length of Amaze will be less than four meters. It is believed that the Amaze car to be launched in India will match the big Honda sedans sold abroad. In fact, the design of the second generation Amaze was also inspired by Honda’s old sedan car at that time, the Accord.

According to the Autocar report, Honda’s entry-level sedan Amaze will continue with its stylish design indicators. It is also expected to get a new cabin layout and a larger and free-standing touchscreen setup. Features like Elevate and other Honda cars can be found in it.
Honda can launch the third generation Amaze with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder aspirated petrol engine from the current model. This engine also comes with 5-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox. Like the existing car, the new Amaze will be sold only with petrol engine. To keep costs under control, it may share interior components with other Honda models in India.
When will it be launched?
According to the report of Autocar, sources have said that Honda is going to launch the new Amaze in the last six months of this year. It is expected that this new Amaze will be launched around the Diwali 2024 season.
