The Vida VX2 has been launched as Hero MotoCorp’s cheapest electric scooter.
On 1 July, Hero MotoCorp launched its most affordable electric scooter, Vida VX2, which comes to reduce the cheapest iPhone price in the market. While the cheapest phone from Apple is the price of iPhone 16E, 59,900, Vida VX2 can be purchased 59,490 (East-Shoreroom). Electric scooters are available in two different variants and are offered with Battery-e-Services (BAAS) scheme.
With BAAS scheme, Vida VX2 Go, can be purchased on the base version of electric scooter, 59,490 (ex-showroom), while without battery membership plan, its cost 99,490 (East-Shoreroom). The top version of the Vida VX2, nominated as VX2 Plus, is priced 64,990 (ex-showroom), with BAS plan and 109,990 (ex-showroom) without membership plan. Consumers who opt for the BAAS scheme will have to pay 0.96 per kilometer to use batteries.
The BAAS scheme makes Vida VX2 electric scooters much cheaper than rivals such as Bajaj Chetak, TV IQOBE and Ola S1 Air. Even Ola S1 Z, which is priced 59,999 (ex-showroom), not yet a hit on the roads. VX2 sits under V2 in Vida’s product lineup.
Vida VX2: Povertrain and Specifications
The Vida VX2 Go 2.2 kwh is available with removable battery pack that allows it to run at a border of up to 70 kmph speed and 92 kilometers at a charge. It is capable of traveling a distance of 0–40 kmph in 4.2 seconds.
Powering the top-spec Vida VX2 Plus is a 3.4 kwh dual removable battery pack, which promises a range of up to 142 km on a full charge. This version is capable of walking at a top speed of 80 kmph. This trim is capable of giving speed of 0–40 kmph in 3.1 seconds.
