Hero MotoCorp has updated its two most popular commuter motorcycles – Super Splendor XTEC and Glamor. Super Splendor XTEC and Glamor now have powertrains that comply with OBD2B emission norms. While both motorcycles have their classic designs and important underpinning features, these updates ensure that both comply with strict emissions rules, while still offering value-to-wealth for the city riders.
The company had upgraded Hero Splendor Plus and Hero Junoon Plus as well as engines as per the OBD 2B earlier this month. Like Super Splendor XTEC and Glamor, Splendor Plus and The Passion Plus maintained their fundamental design and hardware in the upgrade.
Hero Super Splendor XTEC & Glamor: Engine and Performance
Both Hero Super Splendor XTEC and Glamor use a 124.7cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine that is as their power source. Performing figures are largely similar, and engines have been replaced to meet new OBD2B criteria that correspond to new emission rules.

Super Splendor XTEC makes 10.8 bhp and 10.6 Nm with 10 speed transmission. Glamor has 10 bhp and 10.4 Nm, which has 5 speed transmission, which means improving highway cruzing and flexibility in gearing.
Hero Super Splendor XTEC & Glamor: Design & Style
From the perspective of a design, both motorcycles follow with their functional communal-concerted appearance emphasizing daily practicality. Super Splendor XTEC has a simple design that combines the form and function, while the glamor combines an element of sporty for commutary motorcycle design with aggressive body lines.
Color options provide variety, with super splendor matte nexus blue, matte gray, black and candy blazing red, paint ends. While glamor is found in black-sport of candy blazing red, black metallic silver, techno blue mats, color option and a special drum model.
Hero Super Splendor XTEC and Glamor: Features and Technology
Super Splendor XTEC and Glamor feature LED lights, USB charging points and all-digital instrument clusters. The console has Bluetooth connectivity, offering calls and SMS notifications, as well as real -time mileage and fuel efficiency.

Hero Super Splendor XTEC & Glamor: Price
