Aditi Rao Hydari’s Gajagamini walk in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix show Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is taking social media by storm. Fans around the world are replicating this move, and Aditi also joined the trend during her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Rajkummar’s Gajagamini walk
On Wednesday, Rajkummar’s Mr & Mrs Mahie co-star Janhvi Kapoor shared a video on her Instagram handle in which she is wearing her cricket pads and ready to bat. Rajkumar, who is bowling, imitates Janhvi’s walking while wearing pads. As soon as he comes back to the crease, he does a strange movement, which is strangely reminiscent of Aditi’s viral Gajagamini stance in Heeramandi.
Janhvi added the Heeramandi song Saiyaan Hatto Jao to the video and captioned it, “Our very own GajaGamini walk 🥲 Took a minute to get used to all those cricket pads but glad I could entertain you Mr Mahi (slurp emoji).” The official Instagram handle of Dharma Productions, which is supporting Mr and Mrs Mahi, commented, “That’s the way it is #TheMahiWay! (laughing emoji with tears).” Orhan Avatramani aka Ori, social media influencer, who is also a close friend of Janhvi, wrote, “@rajkummar_rai >>>” Rajkummar’s Badhaai Do co-star Gulshan Devaiah also dropped a comment, “Ask him to wear leg guards and walk… see kya chal hai chalta hai woh (how he walks).”
About Mr. and Mrs. Mahi
Mr and Mrs Mahi is directed by Sharan Sharma, who is best known for his directorial debut Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Mr and Mrs Mahi is the second collaboration between Janhvi and Sharan. It also marks the second collaboration between Janhvi and Rajkummar. The pair previously appeared in Roohi. The film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It will release in theatres on May 31.
Janhvi will also be seen in Ulajh, Devara: Part 1, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and Suriya’s next. Meanwhile, Rajkummar will star in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Stree 2.
