Duffer Brothers’ favorite Netflix web series The grand finale episode of Stranger Things was released on December 31. Is the Stranger Things finale as bad as Game of Thrones?

ST feels like the writers are trying to tie everything together in weird ways. Not cool, but ultimately forgivable. Fans were angry with Vecna’s ending
Most fans who picked up X were also angry at how Vecna was ultimately defeated by Eleven and her friends. One fan wrote, “Mixed feelings on the #StrangerThings5 finale, mostly meh. Many others also discussed with spoilers about how Vecna was defeated in ‘5 Minutes’, wondering why he was set up as such a powerful figure, only to meet that ending.
One disappointed fan even compared it to the Umbrella Academy finale, “The main villain was killed off halfway through, no one important died, no explanation on Henry Creel’s origin story, and it only took 18 months. The Stranger Things finale was the stupidest ending I’ve seen right up there with The Umbrella Academy.”
Fans say Stranger Things finale is predictable
The Duffer Brothers were also called out for saying that the ending of Stranger Things would not be predicted in interviews. One Another agreed, “Only one person dies in the finale of Stranger Things and it’s the most predictable death ever? What a waste of time and what a terrible way to end the show.”
