Prakash and Sindhvi made the announcement just a month before their 11th wedding anniversary. His note read, “After much consideration, while maintaining mutual respect for each other, for our mental peace and well-being, Sindhvi and I have decided to separate after 11 years of marriage.”
They continued, “We ask the media, friends and fans to understand and respect our privacy during this deeply personal transition. About Prakash and Sandhvi
Prakash married his classmate and singer Sandhvi in 2013. They became parents to a daughter, Anvi, in 2020. The duo collaborated on several projects and scored several chart-topping hits. GV Prakash is the nephew of AR Rahman. His mother, AR Rehana, is the elder sister of the veteran musician.
Sindhvi’s post on her 10th wedding anniversary
Last year, Sindhvi had shared her wedding picture on Instagram on her 10th wedding anniversary. She wrote, “We’ve been married for a decade but it seems like it happened yesterday.
