An actress named Riya Sinha has won the Miss Universe India pageant, which was held in Jaipur on Sunday evening.
Riya Singha has been crowned Miss Universe India 2024 and will now represent India at the global Miss Universe 2024 pageant. The grand finale of Miss Universe India 2024 was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan on Sunday. Riya describes herself as ‘TEDx Speaker | Actor’ in her Instagram bio. She is 19 years old and hails from Gujarat.

The event was full of excitement, with Riya emerging as the winner and bagging the coveted title. After her big win, Riya could not hold back her happiness. Speaking to ANI, she smiled and said, “Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so grateful. I have worked really hard to reach this point where I can consider myself worthy of this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners.”
For the finale, Riya wore a shimmery peach-golden dress. For the swimsuit round, she took to the stage in a metallic red bikini and for the costume round, she wore a white-red-yellow dress with a veil. She also carried a Shivling in her arms.

Miss Universe India 2015 Urvashi Rautela, who judged the event, presented Riya with a special crown from the Taj Mahal. She shared her thoughts and hoped that “India will win the Miss Universe crown again this year.”
Urvashi Rautela told the media, “I am feeling the same thing that all the girls are feeling. The winners are amazing. They will represent our country very well at Miss Universe and I hope India wins the Miss Universe crown again this year. All the girls are hard working, dedicated and extremely beautiful.”
With this title, Riya Singha is now preparing to represent India at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, which will take place later this year.
