One such tower is named Badungpet Tower, which is located near the office of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. This tower is located at the highest location in this area which is called ‘Burj’. From here the whole badgpet looks and the morning and evening view is very beautiful. It is said that it is the most famous place of Badungpet and its history is about 300 years old.
History of Badungpet
Badungpet was named after the ruler named Badangi, who ruled here during the Deccan Sultanate period. In the old village, there are beautiful historical monuments like button Gutta fort walls and ancient Shiva-Vishnu temple called Kashi Bugga. Initially it was developed as a residential center, but now the population here has increased rapidly. History of 300 years, famous places and old temples further increase the importance of this region. In 2013, its own municipal corporation was also built here.
Badungpet tower is a very quiet place
Burj (Hill Top Tower) area is an attractive tourist destination, it is a very luxurious and quiet place. There is only one tower here from which you can go up. There is a green park around the tower where you can sit in the evening and see the sight of the rising sun. The scene of Badungpet looks great with this tower. There is a circle of about 3000 square yards around the tower and green pattern pavements are built on the part of this hill, making the way to walk around the tower.

This tower is located at a distance of 10 kilometers from the Charminar, where you can easily reach by bus and auto. If you use a private vehicle, you can easily reach Balpur.
