Customizable swipe actions (mobile)
In the Gmail app, you can customize swipe actions to quickly archive, delete, mark as read/unread, move, or snooze emails. Users need to go to Settings > General settings > Swipe actions to set their preferences. This feature saves time by managing emails through simple swipe gestures.

confidential mode
Gmail’s confidential mode allows users to send sensitive information in a secure manner. In such a situation, while composing an email, you have to click on the lock-and-clock icon at the bottom. From here you can set the expiration date for the email. A passcode is also required to open this mail. Also, the mail sent in this mode cannot be forwarded, copied or printed.

Schedule Send
Through this mode, emails can be sent later. For this, after composing the mail, you have to click on the arrow appearing next to the send button and select Schedule send. After this, you have to select the date and time as per the requirement.

Undo send
After sending an email in Gmail, there is an option of Undo. This can be used to stop the email sent by mistake. But, by default, it gives a time of 5 seconds. This can be changed by going to the General tab in Gmail’s settings. This setting can be searched by the name Undo Send and here four options are available, out of which 30 seconds is the maximum.

Keyboard Shortcuts
Gmail offers a variety of keyboard shortcuts to enhance efficiency. To enable them, go to Settings > See all settings > General > Keyboard shortcuts on. Here are some shortcuts:

• C- To compose an e-mail.
• For e-mail archive.
• Shift + U – Mark as unread.
• G + I– To go to inbox.
