The city was identified by the world monument Charminar, which people from all over the world come to see Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, the fifth ruler of Qutub Shahi dynasty built in 1591 AD, but very few people know that the construction of Charminar is inspired by a historical mosque in the city of Hyderabad.

Talking to Local 18, history expert Zahid Sarkar says that Murakka -e -Hyderabad Kitab which has been written by Allama Ejaz Farooq, in which he writes that the historic Ibrahim Mosque is built above another heritage Golconda Fort in the city. The texture of the Charminar is inspired by the Ibrahim Mosque itself, in the same way the texture of this mosque is the texture of the Charminar. There are two towers in this mosque, similarly the four towers of the Charminar are of the four towers. First, this mosque was built over the Golconda Fort and then the Charminar was later constructed.
What is the history of Ibrahim Mosque
He told that Ibrahim Qutub Shah, the fourth Sultan of the Qutub Shahi dynasty, was built in (1550-80). Therefore, this mosque is called as Ibrahim Mosque.

This mosque remains above the Golconda Fort. To go here, you will get a ticket of 25 and the camera charge is separate. You can easily reach the bus and auto here, but this mosque is closed and you can see it from outside.
