Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition launched
Jeep India has expanded its major SUV lineup with the launch of the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition, which comes at the premium 1.54 lakhs on standard model. While regularly the price of grand Cherokee is priced 67.50 lakh (ex-showroom), a sticker price of the new Signature Edition 69.04 Lakh (East-Shoreroom). The special version brings a set of exclusive factory-fitted items that are otherwise unavailable through the standard secondary list of the jeep.
The upgrade has a rear-seat entertainment package, a dashboard-mounted camera and motor-driven side steps, which increase both convenience and luxury for buyers. Grand Cherokee, first introduced in India in 2022, continues premium Prasad such as Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC 90, BMW X5 and other luxury SUVs.
Design highlights
Visually, Grand Cherokee retains the infallible design identity of the brand with reputed seven-slot grills, chlameshell bonnets and muscular boxing stones. The SUV sits on a stylish 20 -inch alloy wheels that add to its road appearance.
Paurtrain and Performance
There are no mechanical changes in the signature version. It continues to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which provides 268 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, while the Jeep’s Quadra-Trac 4×4 system ensures that power is distributed to all four wheels on the road and for closed performance.

Interiors and features
Step inside, and Grand Cherokee provides a premium cabin with technology and comfort features. The SUV gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a separate screen for the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster and even for the front passenger. The cabin perforated capri leather is terminated in the upholstery, with ventilated seats, ambient lighting, voice command support and a panoramic sunroof. A head-up display, a 9-speaker audio system, and wireless connectivity further enhanced the experience.
Safety package
On the security front, the SUV is well equipped with eight airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-start aid, tire pressure monitoring and an advanced driver support system (ADAS). The model is introduced as a five-seater and is locally assembled in India, making it the first market outside North America for the construction of Grand Cherokee.
Price determination
Currently, standard jeep Grand Cherokee is introduced in a fully loaded Limited (O) version 67.50 Lakh (East-Shoreroom). The new signature edition is slightly higher 69.04 lakhs, catering for customers, which are directly connected to the factory without any hassle.
