Due to the Mahakumba, Gate 2025 and Jam 2025 Examination Centers have been transferred to Lucknow, and new admit cards are available on official websites.

The prescribed gate 2025 exam for 1 and 2 February, and the JAM 2025 exam for 2 February, was originally to be held in Prayagraj. However, due to Mahakumbo, both exams will now be held in Lucknow on the same dates. A notice on official websites for Gate 2025 and Jam 2025 confirmed this change in examination centers.
“Based on the representatives received from many candidates, on 1 and 2 February, 2025, there are difficulty in reaching the examination centers in Uttar Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh about the huge congregation of devotees expected in Mahakumb. . Related to the centers in Lucknow during the respective gates and jam examination days, “reads the official notice.

For Gate 2025, five examination centers have been transferred from prayer to Lucknow, while for the jam 2025, four examination centers have been transferred.

The notice states that new admit cards have been issued for those candidates whose centers were changed. These can be downloaded from official websites: gate2025.iitr.ac.in and Jam2025.Iitd.ac.in.
IIT ROORKEE will operate Gate 2025 on 1 February, 2, 15 and 16, and IIT Delhi will conduct the jam 2025 on February 2, 2025.
Candidates should also bring photo ID uploaded during the online application process, as mentioned in the admit card, for identity verification.
