As per the official schedule, the GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16 next year.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will end the registration process for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2025 tomorrow, September 26, without any delay. All the eligible and interested candidates still have some time left to apply for the exam through the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
As per the official schedule, the GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16 next year. It will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
GATE 2025: Important Dates
The last date for extended online enrollment or application process for GATE 2025 with late fee is October 7. Candidates can change category, paper, exam city, add new test paper or update personal details for GATE 2025 till November 6, each modification will incur additional cost.
The authority will release the GATE 2025 admit card on January 2, 2025, and the result for the same is expected to be released on March 19, 2025.
GATE 2025 Application Fee
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) will have to pay an application fee of Rs 900 during the registration process. All other candidates, including foreign nationals, will have to pay Rs 1,800.
SC/ST/PWD applicants who submit the form after the due date will have to pay Rs 1,400, and other candidates will have to pay Rs 2,300.
How to apply for GATE 2025?
Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, find the online application link and click on it.
Step 3: Next, register yourself on the portal by providing the required details.
Step 4: After logging in, fill the GATE 2025 application form and submit all the required documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on Proceed.
Step 6: Keep a hard copy of the application for future reference.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination that tests applicants for a comprehensive understanding of multiple graduate-level subjects in engineering, technology, architecture, and science.
