GATE 2025 registration date has been extended to October 3, 2024. Here is the direct link to apply.
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has extended GATE 2025 registration date. The last date for applying without late fee has been extended till October 3, 2024. Candidates who want to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025 can find the direct link through the official website of IIT GATE, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

“Due to numerous requests from applicants, the closing date for the regular online registration/application process (without late fee) of GATE 2025 has been extended to 11:59 pm on October 3, 2024 (Thursday),” the official website reads.
GATE 2025: How to apply
Eligible candidates can apply online by following the steps given below.
- Visit the official website of IIT GATE, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Click on GATE 2025 Registration link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates have to enter the registration details.
- Click on Submit and log in to your account.
- Now fill the application form and upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Click Submit and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a hard copy of it with you for further need.
GATE 2025 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. The examination will be conducted in two sessions – morning and afternoon on all exam dates. There will be 30 test papers and the test papers will be in English and will be completely objective type.

The application fee is Rs.900 for Women/ST/SC/PWD category candidates for regular duration per test paper. The application fee for other candidates is Rs.1800/- per test paper for regular period.
