Lauki, also known as winter gourd or winter melon, is a vegetable that is widely consumed in India. In an interview with HT Lifestyle, Vedika Premani, Clinical Dietician at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai, shared the incredible health benefits of consuming lauki juice every day.

Bottle gourd has a very high water content, so its juice is a great hydrating drink. It helps to refresh the body and keep us hydrated throughout the day.

Bottle gourd is low in calories and high in fibre. Its juice helps in providing satiety, and hence, prevents random food cravings. It can help in maintaining a healthy body weight.
