Meanwhile, while addressing the fourth convocation of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in the Ranpur region of Kota, former vice -president Jagdeep Dhankhar criticized the coaching institutes, described them as “illegal centers” and “Black holes for talent”.
“I urge civil society (and) public representatives to appreciate the urgency of the disease.
“Let Kota be an education center and should not be a center of poaching or coaching centers,” he said. “The seats are limited, and the coaching centers are across the country. They rob our students, which makes their thinking completely condensed.”
He further reminded the students of the value of learning beyond Marx, saying, “Remember, your marksheet () grade (s) will never define you. When you jump into the competitive world, your knowledge and thinking will define you.”
The launch of Mission Aknakhya in Kalahandi aims to provide equal access to quality civil services for coaching, ensuring that talented students in remote areas are the opportunity to compete with candidates from more developed fields.
