The Directorate of Primary Education (Dee) Assam started the online registration process for the recruitment of 4,500 Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) School teachers on the official website.

eligibility criteria:
To apply, candidates need to clear ATET or CTET (for LP or UP schools, according to the post). Language 1 or Language 2 of CTET or ATET should match through school instructions, where they want to apply according to officials.
- Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
- 2-year-old diploma in primary education (whatever name is known) or Bachelor of Education or Primary Education Bachelor of Education (for Upper Primary)
- Assam Tate or Central Tate
Vacancy Description:
According to the vacancy breakup, 2,900 lower primary schools have assistant teachers for posts, and 1,600 upper primary (UP) schools have assistant teachers, science teachers and Hindi teachers posts.
Age limit:
Candidates who are at least 18 years old and are not older than 40 on January 1 can apply for the recruitment process. Rebate in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates.
Candidates need to note that those who have more than two living children after January 1, 2021 (single or several partners) are not eligible to participate in this D Assam recruitment process.
