In Baghelkhand, when earlier marriages used to be married, the person used to wear wood i.e. wooden mare and used to run with great enthusiasm in front of the procession. People used to call him with great love. He used to entertain everyone. At that time, festivals in the fair used to be easily found.
There was talk on contemporary problems through dance
Sociological Dr. Angle said that earlier artists used to talk about contemporary problems through folk songs through their dance and also made them aware of the evils of the society. Earlier people were entertained through this folk dance. With that, those artists used to get some money too. The time has changed the time. Due to Bandwaja and DJ culture, the living of many such artists was in trouble.
Duldul Ghodi dance organized in government program
Now the old artists left this art. People are now thinking better to do wages instead of doing folk art. Still some theater workers of Rewa are demonstrating this art and are trying to give this art a good platform. In many programs of Madhya Pradesh government, the dance of this Duldul Ghodi of Baghelkhand is organized.
