Jagmeet Singh was expecting his third win. But he lost to Liberal candidate Wade Chang from Burnbi Central seat in British Columbia. While Jagmeet Singh got about 27 percent of the votes, Chang got more than 40 percent of the votes. This defeat has shocked Jagmeet Singh’s Khalistani agenda. Due to these separatist leader Jagmeet Singh, Justin Trudeau had spoiled relations with India. It is believed that this time the Indian community voted against the Khalistani agenda. This is why Jagmeet Singh has lost. At the same time, after the resignation of Justin Trudeau, the situation of Liberal Party also improved. There was opposition to Trudeau’s foreign policy within his party itself. Carney’s stance on India is very different from Trudeau. He says that he will focus on improving relations with India.

How did Jagmeet climb stairs in politics
Jagmeet Singh was born in a Sikh family in Scarborough, Ontario in the Greater Toronto region. He obtained a degree in Biology from Western Ontario University and Law Graduate from Osgood Hall Law School, University of York. The 46 -year -old Sikh leader worked as a criminal lawyer for many years before entering the provincial politics. Finally in 2011, the Ontario contested the provincial election for a seat in the legislature. In 2019, he won a major political victory when he won a by -election in Burnb and reached the Parliament of Canada for the first time. Jagmeet is known for his well -stitched suits. Sikh leader Jagmeet was in controversy

Because he said that the Sikh riots of 1984 should be called ‘genocide’. Two years later, he also attended a Khalistani rally, raising slogans of ‘Khalistan, Khalistan’. Apart from this, big posters of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale were installed in the rally. Bhindranwala was a Khalistani terrorist declared in India and was killed in an encounter with the army in the Golden Temple in 1984.

Relationships after Nijjar’s murder spoiled
