Travel content creator and photographer Anunay Sood passed away on November 6 at the age of 32. He was in Las Vegas at the time of his death. The cause of his death is unknown. Anunay’s friend and actor RJ Mahwash shared that he had spoken to him just two days ago and is still unable to believe his sudden demise.
RJ Mahwash expressed grief over the demise of Anunay Sood
On Thursday, RJ Mahwash shared a screenshot of his chat with Anunay on Instagram. The two had interacted just two days ago, where Anunay talked about the Concours scene at Wynn Las Vegas, a luxury automotive event that showcases rare and classic cars. Sharing the screenshot, RJ Mahwash wrote, “Anunya, my heart is sinking! How we were planning an F1 trip a few days ago, and how with a heavy heart, I heard this voice note again. A man full of life. Always laughing, giggling.. still can’t process it.”

He further said, “Abhi to message kaha tha yaar from Vegas. Rest in peace friend. Kisi ki zindagi ka kuch naya pata hai.. Please just be with everyone very well, don’t hurt anyone’s heart. TM jaao to log the persuasion yaar yaad yaar sirf achcha (You just messaged from Vegas friend. Rest in peace. No one knows what can happen) in anyone’s life. Please, just be kind to everyone, don’t hurt anyone.” Hurt. When you’re gone, people will remember you the same way they remember Persuasion, only for the better.

On 6 November, Anunay’s family confirmed the news of his death and requested privacy in a statement shared on Instagram. “It is with great sadness that we share the news of the demise of our beloved Anunay Sood. We ask for your understanding and privacy as we deal with this difficult time. We humbly request you to avoid gathering of crowds near private property,” the statement said.
